A Rake's Progress

Part of the entrance feature at Decorex 2014, Coates interpreted The Levee from Hogarth's renowned series 'The Rake's Progress'. The Back to Back sofa, Picaro lounger and Carry Artid lamps were presented as if part of the scene from a Georgian high society meeting. Complemented by these eclectic pieces the garrulous characters of Hogarth's masterpiece seem to take on whole new dimensions.
